This winter, we’re inviting you to slow down, lean in, and explore that moment with intention.

Introducing Wine Tasting Deconstructed

A hands‑on sensory workshop designed to help you understand why you taste what you taste — and how to build a stronger, more confident palate.

Whether you’re a longtime Friends of the Farm member or someone who simply loves discovering something new in their glass, this workshop breaks wine evaluation into an approachable, step‑by‑step experience. Through smell, touch, and taste, you’ll explore some of the most common descriptors found on wine menus and learn how to identify them with clarity and ease.

This isn’t about memorizing terminology. It’s about connecting flavor, aroma, and sensory memory in a way that feels personal, intuitive, and fun.

What to Expect

In this guided session, you’ll move beyond the swirl‑and‑sip routine and into a deeper sensory journey. Each aroma becomes more vivid. Each flavor becomes more layered. And each sip becomes a story — one you’ll be able to read with more confidence long after the workshop ends.

You’ll also begin building your own Sensory Bank Journal, a tool designed to help you capture and recall the flavors and aromas that resonate with you most.
